Cultivating employee wellbeing within the office environment is highly important, not only in terms of the individuals themselves but also the company as a whole. By looking after the health of your employees both physical and mental, and paying a little extra attention to morale building and happiness in general, businesses can achieve a substantial productivity boost.

While many business leaders do now recognise this fact, many remain unsure as to how to best create an environment tailored toward achieving this goal. Fortunately help is available in this regard, as London-based interior designers/office fit-out specialists Woodalls Design recently announced their latest free seminar, this time focused upon two overarching questions: Why is wellbeing important in the design of offices, and how can we get better at designing our spaces around the needs of the people who are going to be using them?

The seminar, titled ‘Designing for Wellness’, will be held within the Woodalls Design Studio on 7th December 2017. The event itself will feature presentations from Woodalls Design as well as a speaker from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).

The inclusion of the IWBI in such a seminar is a valuable one, given their widespread expertise on the matter of wellbeing in the working environment. Most will know the organisation for the ‘WELL Building Standard’ – described on the official website as “the premier standard for buildings, interior spaces and communities seeking to implement, validate and measure features that support and advance human health and wellness”.

Woodalls are also no slouch when it comes to effective office design, amassing a wealth of knowledge and experience over the company’s 167 years of operating. With a team comprised of interior designers, strategists and a variety of creative minds, their collective insights should prove highly useful to any business leader or facility manager struggling with the intricacies of modern office design.

Those wishing to attend the seminar can sign up for free via the Woodalls Design website. The event will take place at the Woodalls Design Studio (1-3 College Hill, London EC4R 2RA) on the 7th December 2017, and will run from 12pm to 2pm.
